International Finance

We are regularly instructed by regional and international lending institutions and the lending agencies of foreign Governments in financing transactions for large capital and development projects in St. Kitts and Nevis. Our PRESENT AND PAST clients include major financial institutions situated in Trinidad and Tobago and a division of the United States Government.

Capital Markets and Structured Financing

Gonsalves Parry is the ‘go to’ firm in the Organisation of East Caribbean States (OECS) sub region for capital markets and structured financing matters. We were the key local legal advisors to a regional Central Bank in the development of its money and capital markets programme including the formation of a stock exchange. We are regularly instructed by the major regional financial institutions in relation to transactions under the Securities Act, particularly medium-term note programmes.

In 1984, the Government of St. Christopher and Nevis established a Citizenship by Investment programme. It is one of the oldest programmes of its kind and is highly respected. The programme provides an opportunity to persons to acquire a second citizenship and passport within the confines of the relevant legislation and guidelines and provided the applicant passes strict security and health checks.
